Brand Patterns

A BRAND PATTERN

Brand patterns are the new brand color palettes. Modern branding is moving beyond static color swatches to more dynamic, expressive, and flexible pattern assets.

Unlike a color palette, which is static, patterns can be animated, scaled, or cropped while retaining brand recognition. They create an ownable visual identity. Many brands share similar color palettes, but a well-designed pattern can make a brand instantly recognizable, even without logos or type.

Patterns can embody brand stories, values, or heritage in a way colors can’t. A repeating motif or texture becomes like a visual signature, and more adaptable than a static brand color. Think of them as visual metaphors or cultural signifiers that tie into the brand’s ethos and tell a much richer story than a color can.

A brand pattern isn’t replacing the color palette, it’s evolving it. While color still matters, the pattern becomes the carrier of brand energy, offering uniqueness, movement, and flexibility.

We weave brand patterns.
